We cover Garland itself along with the surrounding towns - Murphy, Sunnyvale, Heath, University Park, St. Paul, Parker, Highland Park, Lucas, Balch Springs, Lavon, Fate, Farmers Branch, McLendon-Chisholm, Fairview, Nevada, Seagoville, Lowry Crossing, Hutchins, Talty, plus Coomer Creek just north and Casa View to the southwest. Distances run anywhere from a couple miles to about 20, so where you sit on that map affects how soon we can realistically get there on a given day - closer jobs slot in faster between calls.
If you're not sure whether your address falls inside the area we run, just call and ask. We'd rather tell you straight than have you wait on a truck that's not coming.
What Comes Next
When you call, we'll ask what the door is doing - won't open, won't close, makes noise, off track, opener runs but the door doesn't move - and we'll ask roughly how old the house or the door is if you know it. That second answer matters more than people expect, since a good chunk of the homes in this area were built in that 1973-to-2013 stretch, and knowing which end of it you're on narrows down what's likely wrong before anyone shows up.
Once we're at the house, the visit is straightforward: look at the spring, cable, track and opener, tell you what's actually broken versus what's just old and noisy, and give you a number before any work starts. Not every repair is worth doing - sometimes a door that's original to a 20-year-old house is cheaper to replace than to keep patching, and we'll say so instead of running up a repair bill on a door that's on its way out anyway.
We don't carry every part on every truck for every door style out there, especially on older or discontinued hardware, so occasionally a job means a return trip once a part comes in. When that happens, we'll tell you upfront rather than after the fact.
